GOALS

Record signing Darwin Nunez shut critics up with a four goal haul against RB Leipzig. That saw him finish as the Reds’ topscorer in pre-season. Mo and Hendo were the other goalscorers, netting against Crystal Palace and Leipzig.

Harvey underlined a strong season by topping the assists chart alongside creator-in-chief Trent Alexander-Arnold. Carvalho and Bobby also notched one each.

CLEAN SHEETS

Adrian kept the only clean sheet in pre-season (against Leipzig). The only other clean sheet (against Palace) saw three different goalkeepers take to the pitch, with neither playing up to 60 minutes.

The Spanish veteran enjoyed a solid pre-season and took that form into the Community Shield as he was pressed into action with Alisson and Kelleher ruled out through injury.
