MADE 4 LIVERPOOL PLAYER OF THE MONTH – NOVEMBER
November took in five games, with Liverpool facing the likes of Atletico Madrid, West Ham, Arsenal, Porto and Southampton. The Reds managed four wins, with the defeat to West Ham (the first of the season) being the only blot on an otherwise perfect copybook of a month. We look at the best players in November.

5. Fabinho Tavares – avg. rating (8.0)
The Brazilian’s importance to the side has never been in doubt, with his absence keenly felt whenever he has missed a game. He earned 4 ratings over November, with his 9.5/10 against Arsenal the highlight. He was instrumental to that victory and his tackle on Aubameyang to halt a two on one counter typifies him.
4. Sadio Mané – avg. rating (8.0)
Talk of the 29 year old’s decline has been proven to be premature as he’s looked back to his best this season. Over the course of the month he’s been impressive, with his two goals and an assist coming against Atleti and Arsenal. He overcame a knock to the ribs to torment Arsenal in what was his best performance of the month.
3. Diogo Jota – avg. rating (8.3)
The Portuguese international had a prolific month, scoring 4 goals in 4 appearances. He broke the deadlock against Atleti, made it 2-0 against Arsenal, before scoring a brace to put us 2-0 up against Southampton. Talk about clutch! He was sensational in November as he brilliantly filled in for the stricken Firmino.

2. Virgil Van Dijk – avg. rating (8.4)
The big man has returned to his best since the ACL injury. It is unbelievable just how seamlessly he’s slotted back into the side after such a serious injury. He made 4 appearances across November, enjoying 3 clean sheets. His level of consistency is unreal, never dipping below 7/10 in his appearances over the course of the month.
1. Trent Alexander-Arnold – avg. rating (8.9)
The 23 year old was the standout player in November, with his productivity going through the roof. He scored 1 goal and laid on 5 assists in just 4 games! Wild figures, even for him. He provided both assists in the 2-0 win over Porto, and even in defeat to West Ham, he whipped home a brilliant free kick to bring us level.
That was before setting up Origi for the second goal in a futile attempt to wrestle the game back from the grip of an excellent West Ham side. His 10/10 rating against Arsenal underlined his brilliant form as he cut the Gunners apart. Trent has already equalled his PL tally of assists from last season (7) and you wouldn’t put it past him breaking his own record again.

*Average ratings are calculated from the player ratings posted at the end of every match on this site. Players must have played more than half the number of games in the month under review.
Trent Alexander Arnold definitely deserves to be Novembers player of the month, he was out of this world, along side the right defense and midfield, he’s a force to be reckoned with. I really love the state Jota is in right now, ruthless. He surely has eyes for goals. Allison have also been brilliant for us too, infact the whole team, I’m so grateful for this team and I’ll forever love them!
