GUEST ARTICLE: THE BEES ATTACK AS A SWARM AGAIN
Written by Misheals

Over seventy years of their existence, Brentford fans have waited patiently, to pay for a ticket to watch fixtures like this. Harrowingly, they’ve had to endure the ignominy of rigmarolling around the lower echelons of the English football pyramid. However, like in every classic story of success, the stars did eventually align for the “Bees🐝” as they’re popularly known.
The pieces of the puzzle were brought together eventually, and they began to climb up the rungs until they arrived at the very top of the ladder in the most prestigious English Premier league. What a ride they’ve had though, claiming some very luxurious scalps along the way, chief of which was their first match against the 13 time English league champion Arsenal.
A famous win and clean sheet later, the Bees were back. Last week, they also did one over Wolves away from home, even with a man disadvantage. Liverpool though had every incentive to win against the Bees. Manchester City won against their bogey team Chelsea, away from home, and Aston Villa spoilt the show for Ole and Ronaldo, bringing them crashing back the the earth, after all the pomp that accompanied the acquisition of arguably one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Albeit though, just like against Leeds last season, it was strike for strike with the mighty Reds. Another newly promoted gutsy team, went toe to toe. It ended great for Liverpool last season, but this time around it ended in stalement. Brentford is really back, and they’re not looking out of place so far in the best league in the world. We will keep an eye on them as the season trickles on, and just enjoy their exuberance.
Forza Brentford!
